Founding Attorney of the Law Office of Belen Gomez, APC, where she represents individuals and families so that they can stay together without the fear of living in the shadows. Attorney Belen Gomez received her Bachelor’s at UC Riverside, with a double major in Political Science – International Relations, and History. Her emphasis was on the Americas. She received her law degree from Southwestern School of Law, located in Los Angeles, California. Belen Gomez was admitted and licensed as an attorney in the state of California.
Attorney Belen Gomez helps individuals with family based immigration cases such as; family petitions, adjustment of status, parole in place, waivers, naturalization, consular processing, deferred action, administrative relief, as well as U visa and VAWA cases.
She has worked at The Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA) in the area of Employment law, and Immigration Law as well as other non-profits – demonstrating a commitment to helping survivors of various crimes obtain their visas and green cards. Assisted in the founding of the Immigration Clinic at Western State Law School in Fullerton, California, where she helped guide law students through the representation of immigrant clients in the Orange County area. Volunteers at community citizenship/ DACA workshops, has given individual consultations at Legal Orientation Programs at immigration detention facilities in Orange County, conducts immigrant rights trainings and educational forums, and advocates for young DREAMers – students that have been brought to the U.S. as children.
As the Founder of Law Office of Belen Gomez, she has been successful in various complex immigration matters, including stopping deportations due to over stepping by ICE officers, obtaining visas and residency for victims of crimes, and getting many folks lawful permanent residency without having to leave the country.
